I love aircraft, so when Rod and I came across a sign in Comox, BC stating a Spitfire was on display, we had to see it. The Comox Air Force Museum is currently re-building the Y2K Spitfire from a bunch of junky bits found in Africa. How anyone was able to recognize this valuble find is beyond me, but thank goodness they did!

The fellows working on this canoe sized aircraft offered me a job adding rivets inside the tiny hole you see located on the left hand of ths image because they were unable to reach it. Given enough time I would have! DAMN!! Maybe next time boys…
